E5 - 180L Mains Pressure External Relocation
Supply and install 1 x new 180l Rinnai Mains Pressure hot water cylinder outside your house. (Connect to the existing hot/cold water piping system.)
NOTE: Generally, this option is only viable if the existing H.W.C is located on an outside wall or it is on the ground floor of a house with space below the house, i.e. Subfloor space to access the piping.
Includes:
√ Removal (from site) and disposal of old H.W.C. and redundantpipe/valves.
√ Sealing of any old roof/wall penetration. (if required)
√ Supply and installation of 180l Mains Pressure H.W.C (ME180488E30).
√ Supply and installation of a new RMC Valve kit.
√ Installation complying with current plumbing codes.
√ Seismic restraints. (We use Stainless Steel strapping outside not the galvanized strapping commonly used)
√ Pipe lagging of hot outlet pipe.
√ Converting low to mains pressure tapware, 1 x bathroom house. (if required)
√ Setting up a concrete pad for the cylinder to sit on with concrete support below or treated raised timber packers if on an existing concrete path.

-By relocating a cylinder externally there is a lower efficiency through the colder months of the year given it is in a colder climate, this is estimated to be about 5% less efficient over winter.
-With external relocation, you can make more cupboard space and havemore options inside for future renovations.
-As the H.W.C and all the valves are external there is no risk of damage to the house with any potential future leakage.
